Healthy Hawks - Sign Up Now!

Do you like running or walking? Do you like snacks? Looking to do something fun to do this spring, and get a medal for it? Sign ups for Healthy Hawks are available now! Runners and walkers of all ability levels are encouraged to join us after school to prepare for the Geist 5k, 10k, and Half Marathon. Our first practice is on Tuesday, January 28th. Registrations are due by Thursday, February 6th. Pick up a packet outside of Mrs. Kitchell's classroom. Can't wait to see you out there, Hawks!

2nd Semester Photography Club!

Photography club is starting back up this semester! Do you love taking photos outside with friends? Do you like to edit your photos in apps like vsco? If so, this is the club for you! All new members must see Mrs. Ewing (Golliher) in room 31 to get a parent form. The first club date of the semester is Tuesday, February 4th and it will continue every Tuesday until the end of April. Can't wait to see you there!

Wrestling Riverside Hawks in their first home meet vs. Noblesville West. Hawks varsity earned 18 points against a good Noblesville West team. Pins by Captain Tony Paquette and first year wrestler Clark Knight. Great Job Hawks!

RJH -- Boys 8th grade Basketball

8th Grade Boys Basketball Splits with Creekside The 8th Grade Boys Basketball Team split their games at Creekside on Wednesday night. The A team lost to a very talented Wildcat team, 48-12. Tyler Tarter led the way with 4 points. In the B game, the Hawks were able to pull out a hard fought win 49-45. Sam Keithley led the way with 19 points. Leo Morrow added 14 points and Matt Kim, Braden McGill, Malachi Fincher, and Andrei Goia all had 3 points each. Cole Wilson and Owen Backofen chipped in with 2 points each. The Hawks are back in action next week when they host Hamilton Southeastern JH.

7th Girls Basketball

7th grade girls played a hard fought game against Westfield in both A and B action last night. “A” team lost 30-24 and “B” team lost 26-17.

8th Girls Basketball

The 8th Lady Hawks played a talented Shamrocks squad. Despite being plagued with injuries, we played tough but did lose the game 58-23 The Hawks were led in scoring by Ryleigh Gee with 9 points. Scoring was rounded out by Jenna Grubb and Hannah Schulz both with 4 points. And Sydney Berndt and Brooke Johnson each had 3. Hannah Schulz also nabbed 12 rebounds. In B action, the Hawks lost a tough one 27-14. Downtown Libby Brown led the Hawks with 6 points by dominating the post. Scoring was rounded out with Maddie Meier, Cady Wood, Marina Agapios, & birthday girl Sophia Sharpe each with 2 points. The Hawks have 2 games next week with Zionsville West on Monday.
