7th Grade Girls Basketball
The 7th grade girls had their last home game last night and both the A and B team secured victories!! The A team won 38-27. Harper Feeney lead the game with 12 points and Sammie Fox with 10 points. The B team won 26-9. Corinn Bray lead the game with 6 points and Ella Miller with 5 points.
The county tournament starts on Monday with the Lady Hawks facing HIJH!
8th Grade Girls Basketball
The Lady Hawks finished the regular season with a win over New Palestine. 33-30. Millie Peard finally found her confidence on the court playing a complete game with steals and finishing the game leading us with 10 points. Jelena Djukanovic was the monster of the middle grabbing double digit rebounds, hitting her free throws, and finishing with 9 points. Addie Bolles and Reneasia Turner played outstanding including each hitting freethrows late in the game dealing the win. Addie finished with 5 points. Reneasia had 4. Jamiece "The Beast" Barr also played lock down defense and rebounded great adding double digit boards to her stat line. She finished with 5 points. In reserve action, The Hawks are won 23-11. Susan “The Flash” Donzeu used her speed grabbing 4 steals and leading the Hawks with 8 points. Josie Grant was cool on the charity stripe going 3-4 and and hitting a 15 foot floater finishing with 5 points. Taylor Becht also handled the ball well at the point and finished with 5. Including a shot from downtown in the first half. Reneasia Turner was a pest in defense. Drawing a offensive fouls. She also dropped a deep three and finished with 3 points. Back in action in the first round of the Hamilton County tournament on Monday vs HIJH.
