ISMAA

Congratulations to six Riverside students who participated in the ISSMA State Solo and Ensemble competition. This event is for students performing music at the very highest level, bringing musicians from the entire state of Indiana. Students performed for a judge who gave them feedback and a rating on their performance. To be in junior high and performing music at this level is a huge accomplishment.

Wrestling

In their last match before the county tournament, the Riverside wrestlers hosted Fishers Jr. High last night.

In JV action, Bryce Thompson, Cayden Askew, Grayson Cooper, Victoria Colmenarez, and Carnell Frazier were all victorious.

On the varsity mat,. Mason Brolsma, Severus Crean, Dominic Solis, Anas Ahmed, Jagger Marsh, Aidan Roberts, Carter Braxton, and Stuart Sandberg won. The Goldenhawks finished 8–7 in head-to-head matches with six pins, leading to a 55–39 win over the Chargers.

The team will wrap up its season next Saturday in Westfield for the Hamilton County Tournament.

 

7th Grade Girls Basketball

The 7th grade girls were back in action last night against Hamilton Heights. The Lady Hawks took home the victory 43-12. Harper Feeney led the game with 13 points and Emani Mitchell and Sammie Fox both had 8 points. 
The Lady Hawks will have their last home game of the season on Thursday night. Come out and cheer them on to victory against New Pal. 

 

8th Grade Girls Basketball

The Lady Hawks secured a win against Hamilton Heights last night 30-11.  Taylor Becht, Millie Peard, and Jamiece Barr were the Tornado triplets  combining for 20 of our 30 points.  our total points. Taylor led all scorers with 10 points.  Followed by Millie and Jamiece each 5 points. 

Susan Donzeu followed with 4 points.  Addie Bolles added 3. Jelena Djukanovic added 2 and Reneasia Turner added one. 

Back in action on Thursday at New Palestine.
