The RJH front office is open from 8:45am-4:30 pm during the school year.

Early Dismissal 101
We know your time is valuable. When your child needs an early dismissal (before 4:00), we can make the process smooth with your help. Please call, send a note or email to sgraves@hse.k12.in.us by 10:00 am or as early as possible. We will need the full name of the student, time and reason for dismissal, and who is picking up the student. Notes that students bring in can be given to the office before 1st period. We write the pass for 5 minutes before the requested dismissal time and give the pass to the student a period or two earlier. Ideally, your student will be waiting for you in the office ready to go! We realize appointments come up at the last minute and of course we can accommodate those situations too. Please remember to bring your ID with you to the office. Students need to bring their iPad so that they can scan the dismissal QR code and complete the dismissal form.
PM Car Riders 101
In Junior High, students do not need a note to be a PM car rider. However, if you feel your child may forget to meet you out front or if family plans change during the day, please send a note or call the office and we can send that reminder to them at the end of the day.
Volunteers/Chaperones
All visitors/volunteers/chaperones MUST have a Safe Visitor background check on file with Hamilton Southeastern Schools to be allowed to volunteer or chaperone in the building. Please see Safe Visitor information to get started. It takes about a week for Safe Visitor approval, so please plan accordingly.
Forgotten Items
If a student forgets an item at home and a parent needs to drop off that item after school has begun, that item may be dropped off in the front office (door 5). Please have student's first and last names, and grade, on the item and we will let the student know the item is in the office.
